Speech by Dr. Leslie Wong: Adapting Our Traditional Values to the Future

To Celebrate May AAPI Heritage month, CAPA-MC invited well-respected Asian American Educator, Leslie E. Wong for a speech. 

 

Doctor Leslie Wong was the president of San Francisco State University and North Michigan University.  While he was there he dedicated himself to moving the university forward. The University was designated a Hispanic Serving Institution and is also an Asian American Native American Pacific Islander Serving Institution. He eventually retired in 2019.

 

His speech focused on how to utilize AAPI’s valuable diversity and traditional values to contribute to America life.
